We are located inside Runway Wellness, the side building just outside of STS ✈️. Feel free to park in the short term or long term parking, please note 2 hours of free parking.
I've never gotten waxed before, what should I know before my appointment?
First of all don't be scared! It is totally ok to be nervous and I will do my best to make you feel at ease. Please make sure to not shave for 2 weeks, the hair needs to be 1/4 of an inch for the wax to properly grasp it. If the hair is too long we do offer trimming at an extra cost or you can trim it down to 1/2 an inch to 1/4 of an inch but no shorter! Please make sure the area is clean of deodorants, lotions, oils.
What is the difference between the Renewal Peel and the Micro Peel?
The two peels we offer are very different from each other. The Micro Peel was made for clients who can not afford the 1 week downtime that the Renewal Peel requires. It is a MILD exfoliating peel which helps smooth out texture and fine lines, it does create a sort of flaking effect for most Clients. The Renewal Peel although longer downtime and higher price is recommended for Clients with deeper lines and scarring because it gives the best results.
What makes the Elaine brennan skin renewal peel unique?
Some peelings and lasers can destroy cells in the deeper layers of the epidermis or even the dermis creating permanent scarring. Elaine Brennan uses special base ingredients which prevent the peeling process from penetrating too deeply into the skin, making it safe for eyelids and neck! It's truly unique.
Will the skin renewal peel help my acne?
Absolutely. This peel can help your skin rebalance the sebaceous glands and clear up what is under the surface. Purging can happen for the first few weeks if there is substance trapped there to begin with. If that occurs we recommend coming in after for a Deep Clearing Facial.
